This policy explains what data Sloomies collects, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

What We Collect

When you use Sloomies, we collect:

• Discord messages — Message content from channels where the bot has access, used to train AI models
• User IDs — Discord user and server IDs to associate models with their creators
• Usage data — How many times each model is used

How We Use Your Data

Message data is used solely to:

• Extract conversation patterns and writing style
• Train AI models that mimic how a user communicates
• Generate responses when the model is invoked

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data Retention

Message data: Deleted within 24 hours after training completes. We don't store raw messages long-term.

Trained models: Automatically deleted after 14 days or 1,000 uses, whichever comes first.

Usage logs: Retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention.

Third-Party Services

Sloomies uses:

• AWS S3 — Temporary storage of training data and models
• Modal — GPU compute for model training and inference
• Replicate — Embedding generation for conversation analysis

These services process data according to their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

You can:

• Request deletion of any model created of you
• Ask what data we have about you
• Opt out by removing the bot from your server

Data Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest. Access to data is limited to what's necessary for the service to function.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.
